How much detergent should I use for each load?

Two of the biggest factors will be the hardness of your water, and the extent of how dirty the garments are. As a rule, if you have soft water you can use anywhere from 25%-75% less detergent per load. As a rule of thumb though, if your clothes are not getting clean enough you should use more detergent, and if there are soap suds left after a load, you are using too much. Use the detergent's recommendations as a starting point and go from there.

It seems the warm water during my warm cycle is not very warm. Why?

When you put your washer into the warm water setting, it mixes the hot and cold water coming in to your washer. If your hot water is not very hot, or your cold water is really cold, the water will stay cooler. You can increase the temperature setting on your hot water heater to help warm up the water if needed. But remember, if you have children it may not be a good idea to turn your hot water heater up to a higher setting.

I have noticed over time the clothes in the dryer are not coming out dry enough. Can this be Fixed?

Yes, either the dryer is not working correctly and needs repairs, or the dryer vent needs to be cleaned. Good news, we can handle both situations! To determine if the dryer vent needs to be cleaned, simply remove the hose from the back of the dryer and run a load through the dryer. If the clothes come out warm and dry then we will send out our duct cleaning specialist to clean that dryer vent. If the clothes still come out damp or wet, then we will send out a dryer repair technician.

Is there a way to tell whether or not I should replace the washer or dryer instead of repairing it?

Yes, when the technician comes out to diagnose the problem with the appliance he will advise you to either repair or replace. Our goal is to keep you satisfied, so we will do what is right and what is best for you.

Can you help me repair my own appliance?

We will give you pointers if you are attempting to repair your own appliance. We will not go into detail though because this is a specialized industry and many DIY'ers have rendered their appliances useless by performing repairs and service improperly. So while we like to help out where we can, we do not recommend you attempt repairing your appliances with out the proper experience and knowledge.

My washer or dryer is not working at all, whats going on?

Its hard to say with out having a technician run a proper diagnostic. Some times the problem is as simple as a burned out fuse or wire, and sometimes its as complicated as a faulty circuit board. The only way to tell is to book a service appointment! The good news is our diagnostic fee is only $54.95 in almost all areas, and is waived when we do any repairs.
